David brings an international perspective and a deep passion for social justice to his role at IFTF. He works to bring a critical social activist perspective to IFTF’s work. Neil deGrasse Tyson is an American astrophysicist, cosmologist, author, and science communicator. Since 1996, he has been the Frederick P. Rose Director of the Hayden Planetarium at the Rose Center for Earth and Space in New York City.




Mr. Cliff Ransom has been an Editor-In-Chief of Popular Science of Bonnier Corporation since December 2013. Mr. Ransom has been the executive editor of Popular Science since February 2011. Prior to joining Bonnier Corp., he served as Deputy Editor at Budget Travel and features editor at National Geographic Adventure. He started his editorial career at science magazines, first at The Sciences, a publication of the New York Academy of Sciences, and then at Discover.



Austin Watson is an American professional wrestler who is currently signed to WWE under the ring name Xavier Woods. He is part of The New Day, along with Big E and Kofi Kingston, the current WWE Tag Team Champions in their second reign.

A filmmaker and technologist, he spent more than 20 years at Pixar, most recently as Chief Technical Officer and Director of the Studio Tools group. Scott Edward Parazynski (born July 28, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas) is an American physician and a former NASAastronaut. A veteran of five Space Shuttle flights and seven spacewalks, Parazynski's latest mission was STS-120 in October, 2007 – highlighted by a dramatic, unplanned EVA to repair a live solar array. Ashley Eckstein is an American film and television actress known to audiences of Blue Collar TV and as the voice of Ahsoka Tano on Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels. She also played a small role as Alicia in the film Sydney White and as Ms. Cole in the film Alice Upside Down, with both films being released in 2007. Eckstein also had a recurring role as Muffy on the Disney Channel sitcom That's So Raven.
